Ginger Chicken By Sanjeev Kapoor 27 Nov 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cooked Chicken, Ginger Cuisine Chinese Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Ginger Chicken 500 grams Cooked Chicken cooked and shredded 1 tablespoon Ginger chopped 4 Dried mushrooms 2 tablespoons Soy sauce 1 Onion finely chopped 1 Garlic clove crushed 2 tablespoons Vinegar 1 teaspoon Sugar 1 teaspoon Tomato puree to taste Salt to taste Black pepper powder 1 1/2 cups Chicken stock 1 tablespoon Oil 1 tablespoon Corn flour 1 tablespoon Sherry Method Soak dried mushrooms in warm water for thirty minutes. Drain and slice. Add soy sauce, onion, ginger, garlic, vinegar, sugar, tomato puree, salt and pepper and chicken stock to a non stick pan. Bring to a boil and simmer for two minutes. Heat oil in another non stick pan.. Add chicken and sauté for three to four minutes. Add the soy sauce mixture and mix well. Dilute corn flour in sherry and add to the chicken. Cook till sauce thickens. Add mushrooms and mix well.
