Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Greek Chicken Roll Recipe

  • Boneless chicken cut into 2 inch thick strips 400 grams

  • Yogurt Greek 3 tablespoons

  • Tortillas readymade 4

  • Olive oil 1 tablespo + for greasing

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • Red wine vinegar 1 teaspoon

  • Onion finely chopped 1 medium

  • Garlic chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Dried thyme 1 teaspoon

  • Oregano ½ teaspoon

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Romaine lettuce shredded 1 small

  • Tomato seeded and cut into strips 1 medium

  • black and green olives sliced ¼ cup

  • Feta cheese 2-3 tablespoons

  • Tzatziki as required


Step 1

Put olive oil, lemon juice, Greek yogurt, red wine vinegar, onion, garlic, thyme, oregano, coriander leaves, salt, crushed peppercorns and chicken in a bowl and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes.

Step 2

Heat an electric griller and grease with some olive oil. Place the marinated chicken strips and grill on both sides till evenly done. Transfer onto a plate.

Step 3

Take each tortilla, place some grilled chicken, Romaine lettuce, tomato strips, mixed olives, feta cheese and tzatziki in the center and wrap.

Step 4

Diagonally slice and serve immediately with tzatziki.
