Guinness World Record Khichdi Powerhouse of nutrients this khichdi had to create a record This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 20 Jul 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Rice, Ghee Cuisine Indian Course Rice Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Guinness World Record Khichdi 1 cup Rice soaked and drained 2 tablespo for drizzling Ghee 1 (20 gram Tata Sampann Dal Tadka Masala sachet 1 inches Ginger chopped 10-15 Curry leaves 4 tablespoons Split green gram with skin (chilkewali moong dal) soaked and drained 3 tablespoons Sorghum (jowar) soaked and drained 3 tablespoons Pearl millet (bajra) soaked and drained 3 tablespoons Finger millet (ragi) soaked and drained 1/4 cup Amaranth seeds (rajgira) soaked and drained to taste Salt 5-6 French beans stringed and cut into 1 cm pieces 1 Medium carrot peeled and cut into 1 cm pieces 1/2 cup Green peas 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder Method Heat ghee in a pressure cooker, add Tata Sampann Dal Tadka Masala and sauté for a minute. Add ginger and curry leaves, mix and sauté for a few seconds. Add green gram, sorghum, pearl millet and finger millet and mix well. Add amaranth seeds, rice and salt and mix well. Add French beans, carrots, green peas and 6 cups water and mix. Add salt and turmeric powder and mix well. Cover and pressure cook till the pressure is released 6-7 times.
