Ingredients list for Gur Papdi - SK Khazana
- 1/2 cup Jaggery (gur) chopped
- 1/2 cup Ghee
- 1 1/2 cups Whole wheat flour
- 1 pinches Nutmeg powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 8-10 Almonds slivered
- 8-10 Pistachios slivered
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add whole wheat flour and sauté, stirring continuously, for 8-10 minutes or till it is golden brown in colour.
- Take the pan off the heat, add nutmeg powder, green cardamom powder and jaggery and mix well.
- Grease an aluminium burfi tray, put the mixture into it and spread evenly. Sprinkle slivered almonds and pistachios all over the surface and set aside to cool.
- Cut into squares, arrange on serving platter and serve.
