Ingredients list for Healthy Moong Sprouts ki Chaat

  • Whole green grams (moong)
  • 4 tablespoons Onions chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Tomatoes chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Green chillies finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoons Chaat masala
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Roasted peanuts
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Green chutney
  • 2 tablespoons Sweet tamarind chutney
  • 1/4 cup + to garnish Sev

Method

  1. Soak green gram in sufficient water overnight. Drain into a muslin cloth and squeeze to drain out the excess water. Set aside for 1-2 days till sprouts are formed.
  2. Put the sprouts into a mixing bowl, add onions, tomatoes, green chillies, turmeric powder, chaat masala, salt, peanuts, lemon juice, yogurt, green chutney and sweet tamarind chutney and mix well. Add sev and mix well.
  3. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with sev and serve immediately.
