By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Whole green grams (moong), Onions Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 2-3days Cook time 0-5 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 2 cups whole green gram (moong) 2 medium onions, finely chopped 1 large tomato, finely chopped 2 green chillies, finely chopped ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder 2 teaspoons chaat masala Salt to taste 4 tablespoons roasted peanuts 1 tablespoon lemon juice ½ cup yogurt 2 tablespoons green chutney 2 tablespoons tamarind chutney ¼ cup sev + for garnishing Method Soak green gram in sufficient water for an hour. Transfer in a muslin cloth and squeeze to drain out the excess water. Set aside till sprouts are formed. Mix together green gram sprouts, onions, tomatoes, green chillies, turmeric powder, chaat masala, salt, peanuts, lemon juice, yogurt, green chutney and tamarind chutney in a bowl. Add sev and mix well.
