Ingredients list for Homemade Mayonnaise
- 1 egg (room temperature)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper powder to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 cup oil
- 2 teaspoons vinegar
Method
- Break egg into a bowl. Add salt, pepper powder, mustard, sugar and lemon juice and blend with an electric beater. Add 2 tablespoons oil and blend well.
- Slowly add the remaining oil and keep blending till creamy. Add vinegar and mix well.
- Use as required.
