Ingredients list for Homemade Mayonnaise

  • 1 egg (room temperature)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar

Method

  1. Break egg into a bowl. Add salt, pepper powder, mustard, sugar and lemon juice and blend with an electric beater. Add 2 tablespoons oil and blend well.
  2. Slowly add the remaining oil and keep blending till creamy. Add vinegar and mix well.
  3. Use as required.
