By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Jun 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Processed cheese, Raw banana Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Jain Cheese Balls for garnishing Processed cheese 1 cup grated + 1 medium Raw banana boiled, peeled and mashed ¼ cup Green capsicum finely chopped to taste Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon Dried oregano to taste Salt for garnishing coriander leaves 1 tablespoon + 2-3 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch for deep-frying Oil ¼ cup Refined flour (maida) for coating Brown bread crumbs Method Mix cheese, banana, capsicum, pepper powder, chilli flakes, oregano, salt in a bowl. Add coriander and cornflour and mix well. Divide the mixture into equal portions, shape them into balls. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. To make slurry, mix refined flour and some water in a bowl. Spread breadcrumbs on a plate. Dip the balls in slurry, coat them in breadcrumbs and deep-fry in hot oil till brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
