By Sanjeev Kapoor 03 Sep 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Split Bengal gram (chana dal), Onion Cuisine Rajasthani Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Kalmi Vada-SK Khazana 1 cup Split Bengal gram (chana dal) soaked and drained 2 tablespoons Onion finely chopped to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/2 tablespoon Ginger-garlic-green chilli paste 1/2 teaspoon Fennel seeds (saunf) 1/2 teaspoon Coriander seeds coarsely crushed 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped to deep fry Oil Method Blend Bengal gram to a coarse paste. Transfer in a bowl. Add onions, salt, chilli powder, ginger-garlic-green chilli paste, fennel seeds, coriander seeds and coriander leaves and mix well. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into vadas. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry vadas till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
