By Sanjeev Kapoor 31 Jan 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Medium bottle gourd, Ghee Cuisine Indian Course Mithais Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Lauki ki Kheer - SK Khazana 1 Medium bottle gourd peeled and grated 2 tablespoons Ghee 2 cups Milk 1/2 cup Sugar 2 tablespoons Khoya / mawa grated 1 tablespoon Chironji 1 tablespo to garnish Pistachios slivered 1 tablespo to garnish Almonds slivered 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder Method Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add grated lauki and sauté for 4-5 minutes. Add milk and mix well. Add sugar and mix well. Cover and cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes. Add khoya and chironji and mix well and cook till khoya blends well with the milk-bottle gourd mixture. Add pistachios and almonds and mix well. Add green cardamom powder, mix well and cook for 5 minutes. Transfer into a serving bowl.
