By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Sep 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cooked rice, Oil Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Leftover Rice Tikki - SK Khazana 1 cup Cooked rice 1 tablespo for shallow frying Oil 1 Green chilli chopped 1 Medium onion chopped 1/4 cup Carrot grated 3-4 French beans chopped 1 tablespoon Green peas boiled and mashed to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Semolina 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon Garam masala powder to serve Tomato ketchup Method Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan, add green chilli and onion, mix and sauté till onion turns translucent. Add carrot, French beans, green peas and salt, mix well and sauté for 2-3 minutes on medium heat. Take rice in a bowl, add the vegetable mixture, semolina, salt, red chilli powder and garam masala powder and mix well. Divide mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into medium sized tikkis. Heat a little oil in a non-stick tawa, place the tikkis on it and shallow-fry, turning sides, on medium heat till golden brown on both sides.
