This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Mar 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cashewnuts, Black peppercorns Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Masala Cashew 2 cups Cashewnuts 10-12 Black peppercorns 3 tablespoons Cumin seeds 1 tablespoon Coriander seeds 1 teaspoon Fennel seeds (saunf) 1 Clove 3-4 Dried red chillies to deep fry Oil 1 teaspoon Chaat masala to taste Black salt (kala namak) 1 teaspoon Sugar Method Dry roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds, peppercorns, fennel seeds, clove and red chillies till fragrant. Cool and powder. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep fry cashewnuts till light golden. Drain and put into a bowl. Add 2 tsps of the powdered spices, chaat masala, black salt and sugar and mix well. You can store the remaining powdered spices for use later. Let it cool slightly and serve.
