This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 08 Mar 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Whole Wheat Flour, Mixed Spices Cuisine Indian Course Breads Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Masala Roti 1 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Flour kneaded 1/2 cup Mixed Spices 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder 1/4 teaspoon Fennel seed (saunf) powder 1/2 teaspoon Black peppercorns crushed 1/4 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Dried mango powder to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Gram flour (besan) to cook Ghee Method Grind together urad dal, turmeric powder, coriander powder, fennel powder, crushed black peppercorns, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, dried mango powder and salt. Transfer into a bowl, add gram flour and mix well. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll into balls. Shape each ball into a katori, place some urad dal mixture, gather the edges and seal. Shape into a ball again. Heat a non-stick tawa. Dust each stuffed ball in dry flour and roll into a roti. Place each roti on the hot tawa. Drizzle a little ghee all around and cook, turning sides, till both sides till golden brown. Serve hot.
