This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 08 Mar 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Rawas, Tamarind paste Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Masaledar Machchli 4 slices Rawas 2 tablespoon Tamarind paste 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder to shallow Mustard oil 1 cup Rice flour 1 medium Onion sliced 1 teaspoon Chaat masala 1 Lemon sliced Method Place fish slices in a bowl and marinate with turmeric powder, ¾ tsp red chilli powder, salt, garam masala powder and tamarind paste for about 15 minutes. Heat sufficient oil in a non stick pan. Apply rice flour to the marinated fish slices, place them on the pan, cover and shallow fry, turning sides till they turn golden on both sides. Place the onion slices on a serving plate, sprinkle some of the remaining red chilli powder and a little chaat masala over them. Arrange lemon slices over them. Drain the fish slices on absorbent paper. Transfer the slices onto the plate. Sprinkle some chaat masala and red chilli powder over them and serve hot.
