Ingredients list for Mushroom Pepper Fry

  • 200 grams Button mushrooms quartered
  • 1/2 medium Yellow bell pepper finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 2 Green chillies finely chopped
  • 2 medium Onions quartered
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Dark soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
  • for garnishing Ginger juliennes

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add green chillies and sauté till translucent.
  2. Add bell pepper and sauté on high heat.
  3. Add sugar and mix well.
  4. Add mushrooms, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add salt and soy sauce and mix well.
  6. Add coriander and mix well.
  7. Serve hot garnished with ginger juliennes.
