Noodle Burger Bun A unique and fun twist on traditional burgers, featuring burger buns replaced by crispy deep-fried noodle cakes for a delightful texture and flavor. By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Noodles, Chicken mince Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 31-40 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients 2 cups noodles boiled 1½ cups chicken mince 2-3 tablespoons cornflour + for dusting 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon spring onion greens chopped 1 teaspoon egg ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 teaspoon garam masala powder 1 teaspoon cumin powder Salt to taste Oil as required Mayonnaise as required Tomato Ketchup as required ¼ cup purple cabbage, shredded ¼ cup green cabbage, shredded 2 tablespoons Sriracha mayonnaise Method Take chicken mince in a bowl, add cornflour, ginger-garlic paste, spring onion greens, egg, turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder and salt and mix well. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape into medium sized patties. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan, place the patties in it and shallow-fry, turning sides, till fully cooked and evenly golden brown on both sides. Drain on absorbent paper. Take the noodles in another bowl, add some cornflour and mix. Heat sufficient oil in another non-stick pan and place a medium sized ring mould in it. Put some of the noodles in it to make a ½ inch thick bun. Drizzle some oil on top and cook for 1 minute. Remove the mould and let the noodles cook, turning sides till golden and crisp on both sides. Drain on absorbent paper. Make more noodle buns similarly. For each portion, place one noodle burger on a serving plate, spread 1 teaspoon mayonnaise on it, top it with 1 teaspoon tomato ketchup, some green and purple cabbage. Keep a patty on it and drizzle some sriracha mayonnaise on top. Top with some more green and purple cabbage and keep another patty over it, drizzle some more sriracha mayonnaise on top. Cover with another noodle bun. Make more burgers similarly.
