Ingredients list for Oats Payezz
- 1 cup Oats
 - 1/2 cup Green Gram soaked
 - 3 tablespoons Oil
 - 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
 - 6 Cloves
 - 2 inch stick Cinnamon
 - 1 Bay leaf
 - 1 medium Onion thinly sliced
 - 3 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste
 - 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
 - 1 medium Tomato chopped
 - 4 Green chilli chopped
 - to taste Salt
 - 1 tablespoon Fresh mint leaves for garnish
 - 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
 
Method
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon and bay leaf and saute for a minute.
 - Add onions and saute till translucent. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a minute.
 - Add turmeric powder, tomatoes, green chillies and saute till the tomatoes get cooked.
 - Add the dal, oats,salt. Mint leaves and coriander leaves with three cups of water and pressure cook it for three whistles.
 - Remove the cooker from heat and allow the pressure to release.
 - Serve hot garnished with mint leaves.
