This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 31 Mar 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Paneer (cottage cheese), Refined flour (maida) Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Paneer Gulgul 100 grams Paneer (cottage cheese) 1 cup Refined flour (maida) 1/4 cup Semolina (rawa/suji) 2 tablespoons Ghee to taste Salt 1/4 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain) 1/2 cup Milk 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon Dried fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi) powder 1 teaspoon Amchur powder 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder for deep-frying Oil Method Mix together maida, suji, 2 tbsps ghee, salt and carom seeds in a bowl. Add milk and enough water and knead into a dough. Apply a little ghee on the dough and cover with a damp muslin cloth and let it rest for about 15 minutes. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Crumble paneer and put into a bowl. Add red chilli powder, kasoori methi powder, amchur, garam masala powder and salt and mix well. Make a long roll of the dough and cut into small pieces. Apply a little oil on each piece and spread into a little square. Divide paneer mixture into same number of portions as dough pieces. Place one portion in the centre of each dough square and roll. Seal the edges using a fork. Deep fry these in the hot oil till they turn golden. Drain on absorbent paper. Sprinkle amchur and red chilli powder. Serve hot.
