By Sanjeev Kapoor 30 Aug 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cottage cheese (paneer), Whole wheat rotis Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Paneer Kathi Roll - SK Khazana 400 grams Cottage cheese (paneer) cut into strips 4 Whole wheat rotis 20-24 Onion rings 1 Green chilli chopped 1 tablespoon Vinegar 2 tablespoons Oil 1 Medium onion sliced 1 Medium tomato seeded and sliced 1 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder 2 tablespoons Thick yogurt as required Mayonnaise as required Green chutney to sprinkle Chaat masala Method Take onion rings in a bowl, add green chillies and vinegar and set aside. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add sliced onions and sauté till golden brown. Add tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes are soft. Add ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and cottage cheese strips and sauté. Add garam masala powder and yogurt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Place each roti on work top, spread some mayonnaise and green chutney over it. Keep a portion of the cottage cheese mixture in the centre and top up with some onion-chilli mixture. Sprinkle chaat masala and roll tightly. Cut each roll into 2 equal pieces, wrap in colourful tissue napkin and arrange on serving platter.
