Papaya Halwa Papaya cooked in ghee with sugar, almond powder and khoya to make a delicious halwa. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 22 Mar 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Ghee, Papaya Cuisine Indian Course Mithais Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Papaya Halwa 2 tablespoons Ghee 1 large Papaya semi ripe, grated ΒΌ cup Sugar 3 tablespoons Almond powder 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder 3 tablespoons Khoya/mawa crumbled 6-7 Almonds sliced Method Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add papaya and cook on low heat for 10-15minutes, stirring continuously. Add sugar, mix and cook for 5-10 or till the papaya is fully done. Add almond powder and cardamom powder and mix well.
