Payaru Kosumalli Lentil and coconut salad This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 21 Jun 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Split green gram skinless (dhuli moong dal) ,steamed , Cucumber,grated Cuisine TamilNadu Course Salads Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Medium Others Veg Ingredients list for Payaru Kosumalli 1 cup Split green gram skinless (dhuli moong dal) ,steamed 1/2 Cucumber,grated 1/2 Carrot,grated 1/2 cup Raw mango,grated 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves,chopped 1/2 cup Fresh coconut ,grated 1 1/2 tablespoons Lemon juice to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Oil 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds 6-8 Curry leaves 2 Green chillies,chopped a pinch Asafoetida Method Mix together moong dal, cucumber, carrot, raw mango and coriander leaves in a bowl. Add coconut, lemon juice and salt and mix well. Heat oil in a small pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add curry leaves, green chillies and asafoetida.
