Pesto Pasta with Olive Oil Pasta cooked in pesto sauce This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 28 May 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Wholewheat penne pasta, Black olives Cuisine Italian Course Noodles and Pastas Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Pesto Pasta with Olive Oil 200 grams Wholewheat penne pasta Black olives 8-10 Black olives pitted and sliced 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli flakes 2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil 2 tablespoons Milk Pesto sauce 3-4 cloves Garlic to taste Salt 3/4 cup Basil leaves 8 slices Parmesan cheese 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley 4 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil Method Heat sufficient water in a deep non stick pan, keep a strainer in it and put the pasta in it. Cook till just done. Grind together basil leaves, garlic, salt, parmesan cheese, parsley and 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil to a paste . Add another 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil and grind again. Heat 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil in a non stick pan, add the pesto and sauté. Drain the pasta and add and mix well. Add 2 tbsps milk and mix. Add black olives and mix well.
