By Sanjeev Kapoor 05 May 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Pressed Rice, Sprouted Mauth Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Protein Rich Poha 2 cups Pressed Rice 1/2 cup Sprouted Mauth 2 tablespoons Oil 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 inch piece Ginger grated 3 Green chillies chopped 6-8 Curry leaves 2 medium Onions 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Lemon juice 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Take poha in a colander, pour three to four cups of water over to moisten them. Drain and keep aside. Boil sprouted mauth in two cups of water till just done. Drain well and keep aside. Heat oil in a non-stick pan and add cumin seeds and sauté for few seconds. Add grated ginger, chopped green chillies, curry leaves, onions, turmeric powder, boiled mauth and sauté for five to seven minutes till onions are soft. Add poha and toss over medium heat till it is heated through. Add salt and lemon juice. Toss well. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
