Ingredients for Pudina Paneer Pulao-SK Khazana Recipe

  • Fresh mint leaves 1 cup

  • Cottage cheese (paneer) cubed 250 grams

  • Basmati rice soaked and drained 1 1/2 cups

  • Ghee 2-3 tablespoons

  • Cinnamon 1 inch

  • Black peppercorns 10-12

  • Cloves 3-4

  • Green chillies finely chopped 2-3

  • Medium onions sliced 2

  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 1/2 tablespoons

  • Yogurt 1/2 cup

  • Salt to taste

Method

Step 1

Heat ghee in a deep non-stick pan, add cinnamon, peppercorns, cloves and green chillies, mix and sauté till fragrant.

Step 2

Add onions and sauté till lightly browned. Add ginger-garlic paste, mix and sauté for 2 minutes.

Step 3

Add mint leaves, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add ½ cup yogurt and mix well.

Step 4

Add cottage cheese, rice, salt and 3 cups water, mix well, cover and cook till the rice is fully done.

Step 5

Garnish with mint leaves and serve hot.
