Ingredients for Ragi Oats Cookies With Banana Milkshake Recipe

  • Ragi oats cookies

  • Finger millet (ragi) flour , roasted 1/2 cup

  • Oats , roasted 1/4 cup

  • Whole wheat flour (atta) 1/2 cup

  • Powdered sugar 1/2 cup

  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon

  • Butter , chilled 1/2 cup

  • Vanilla essence a few drop

  • Milk as required

  • Oil for greasing

  • Banana milkshake

  • Ripe banana 1

  • Milk 2 cups

  • Peanut butter 2 tablespoons

  • Honey 1 tablespoon


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180º C.

Step 2

Sift together roasted finger millet flour, wheat flour and powdered sugar into a bowl. Add oats and mix well.

Step 3

Add baking powder and butter and rub it in with finger tips till you get a breadcrumb like texture.

Step 4

Add vanilla essence and milk and knead into soft dough. Grease your palms with a little oil, divide the dough into equal parts and shape them into cookies.

Step 5

Place the cookies on a baking tray, keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.

Step 6

To make milkshake, peel and chop banana and put it into a smoothie jar. Add milk, peanut butter and honey and blend till smooth.

Step 7

Remove the cookies from oven and set aside to cool. Once cooled, pack them in tiffin box.

Step 8

Pour the milkshake into a mug flask.
