By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Sep 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Sago (sabudana), Potatoes Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 7-8 hour Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Sabudana Aloo Puri ½ cup Sago (sabudana) soaked overnight 1 cup Potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed ¾ cup Rajgira flour 1 teaspoon Green chillies finely chopped 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds to taste Salt ½ cup Black pepper powder 3-4 Curry leaves chopped 2 tablespoons Roasted peanuts for deep-frying Oil Method Mix together potatoes, amaranth flour, sago, green chillies, cumin seeds, salt, black pepper powder and curry leaves in a bowl. Coarsely grind peanuts and add to the mixture. Add sufficient water and knead into a dough Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into flat vadas. Deep-fry vadas in hot oil till golden and crisp.
