Ingredients list for Sadak Chaap Egg Fried Rice

  • 4 Eggs
  • 3 cups Basmati rice , cooked
  • 4 tablespoons Rice bran oil
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger , finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic , finely chopped
  • 1-2 Green chillies , finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Red chilli sauced
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Green gram sprouts
  • 1/4 cup Mixed bean sprouts
  • 3 + to garnish Spring onion green stalks , chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Masala peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons Fried noodles
  • to garnish Sev

Method

  1. Heat 2 tbsps rice bran oil in a non-stick pan.
  2. Break eggs in a bowl, beat well and add to the pan. Mix and cook, stirring continuously, till fully done. Add salt, mix and transfer in a bowl.
  3. Heat remaining rice bran oil in another non-stick pan. Add ginger, garlic and green chillies, mix and sauté till fragrant.
  4. Add Basmati rice, soy sauce, red chilli sauce, vinegar and salt and mix well.
  5. Add green gram sprouts, mixed bean sprouts and spring onions and mix well. Add cooked egg, masala peanuts and fried noodles and mix well.
  6. Garnish with spring onions and sev and serve hot.
