Scrambled Egg Cup Burger bun cups filled with scrambled eggs - a tasty treat By Sanjeev Kapoor 03 May 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Eggs, Whole Wheat Burger Buns Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Scrambled Egg Cup 4 Eggs beaten 4 small Whole Wheat Burger Buns 2 tablespoons Oil 1 inch piece Ginger chopped 4 cloves Garlic chopped 1 medium Onion chopped 1 large Tomato chopped 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons Butter melted 4 tablespoons White sauce Method Advertisment Preheat oven to 180°C/360°F/Gas Mark 4. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan, add the ginger, garlic and onions and sauté till golden. Add the tomato, red chilli powder, two tablespoons water and salt. Stir and add the eggs and fresh coriander. Cook, stirring, till the eggs are well scrambled. Divide the mixture into four equal portions. Cut a thin slice off the top of the buns and scoop out the crumbs to form bread cups. Apply the melted butter on the inside of the cups and spoon one portion of the filling into each like a mound. Drizzle a tablespoon of white sauce on top of each mound and grill the buns in the preheated oven till the top turns a light golden. Serve hot.
