Ingredients list for Sev Khichia Papad - SK Khazana

  • 4 Khichia Papad
  • 2 medium Potatoes boiled, and peeled
  • Chaat masala 1/4 teaspoon + for sprinkling
  • Dried mango powder 1/4 teaspoon + for sprinkling
  • Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon + for sprinkling
  • as required Melted butter
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 1 Tomato finely chopped
  • 3-4 tablespoons Raw mango chopped
  • 4-5 tablespoons Roasted peanuts
  • 4-5 tablespoons Masala chana dal
  • as required Red chilli Garlic Chutney
  • as required Sweet tamarind chutney
  • as required Green chutney
  • for garnish Fresh coriander leaves
  • for garnish Sev

Method

  1. Dry roast the papads on direct flame till well done on both the sides.
  2. Mash the potatoes into a bowl, add chaat masala powder, dried mango powder and red chilli powder, and mix well.
  3. For each portion place 1 papad on a serving plate, keep another plate on it and press slightly so that the papad is broken into pieces. Drizzle a little butter, sprinkle some onion, some tomato, some raw mango, some peanuts, masala chana dal and some potato mixture.
  4. Drizzle some red chilli-garlic chutney, some sweet tamarind chutney, some green chutney, sprinkle some chaat masala powder, some red chilli powder and drizzle a little yogurt. Garnish with some coriander leaves, some sev and some chana dal and serve immediately.
