This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 11 Aug 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Mutton Mince, Almonds Cuisine Italian Course Main Course Mutton Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Sicillian Meat Balls 250 grams Mutton Mince 15-20 Almonds 2 tablespoons Pine nuts(chilgoza) 8-10 cloves Garlic to taste Salt 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder 1 Egg 100 grams Parmesan cheese shavings 2 tablespoons Raisins 1/2 cup Bread crumbs 2 tablespoons Milk 4 tablespoons Oil 2 bottles Arrabiata sauce (190 gms each) Method Put almonds, pinenuts and garlic cloves in a chopper. Add minced mutton, salt and cinnamon powder and process till well blended. Break egg and add and process for some more time. Add parmesan cheese and continue to process. Add raisins and process some more. Place the breadcrumbs in a bowl, add milk and mix well. Add mince mixture and mix well. Keep this mixture in the refrigerator for about ½ hour. Heat oil in a non stick pan. Dampen your hands, and divide the mince mixture into equal portion. Shape each portion into lemon sized balls and put them in the pan. Cook on high heat, turning sides, for 3-4 minutes. Lower heat, cover and cook. When the meat balls are half done, add arabiata sauce mix gently. Cover and cook, on medium heat, for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve hot.
