Spicy Coriander and Chicken wontons

Ingredients list for Spicy Coriander and Chicken wontons

  • 150 grams Chicken cut into small pieces,
  • 8-12 Wonton wrappers
  • 10-12 Fresh coriander sprigs
  • 1½ teaspoons Soy sauce
  • to taste Salt
  • 3 teaspoons Green chilli sauce
  • 1¼ teaspoons Garlic finely chopped
  • 1 inch Ginger finely chopped
  • 2-3 Green chillies finely chopped
  • for deep-frying Oil

Method

  1. Take chicken pieces in a bowl. Add soy sauce, salt, chilli sauce, garlic, ginger and green chillies and mix well.
  2. Chop coriander and add. Mix well.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
  4. Place wonton wrappers on a worktop. Put a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the centre, apply water on the edges, bring them together, pinch to seal and make into wontons.
  5. Deep-fry wontons in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  6. Serve hot.
