Healthy snacking is the best way to satisfy your munchies without the worry of to many added calories.

Ingredients for Sprout Sev Puri - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Mixed sprouts 1 cup

  • Crisp papdis 32

  • Sev fpr sprinkling

  • Sweet potatoes boiled and peeled 2 medium

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon + for sprinkling

  • Salt to taste

  • Chaat masala 1 teaspoon + for sprinkling

  • Black salt (kala namak) to taste

  • Onion chopped as required

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped as required

  • Green chutney for drizzling

  • Date and tamarind chutney for drizzling

  • Red chilli-garlic chutney for drizzling

  • Raw mango chopped as required

  • Tomato chopped as required

  • Beetroot grated as required

  • Masal chana dal for garnish

  • Salted peanuts for garnish

Method

Step 1

Take the sweet potatoes in a bowl and mash them with a fork. Add red chilli powder, salt, chaat masala, 2 tbsps chopped onion, 2 tbsps coriander leaves and mixed sprouts and mix well .

Step 2

Arrange papadis equally on 4 serving plates, top each with some sprout-sweet potato mixture.

Step 3

Drizzle green chutney, date and tamarind chutney, red chilli-garlic chutney, some chaat masala, some red chilli powder, onion, some raw mango, some tomato and some grated beetroot, some masala chana dal, sev, salted peanuts and coriander leaves. Serve immediately.
