Tetuler Chaatni Tamarind cooked with jaggery and spices, made in to an amazing chutney. By Sanjeev Kapoor 03 Jun 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Tetuler Chaatni Main Ingredients Tamirind, Jaggery Cuisine Indian Course Pickles, Jams and Chutneys Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet and Sour Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 500 grams tamirind 400 grams jaggery, grated 1/2 cup mustard oil 1 teaspoon panch phoran roasted and powdered Salt to taste 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder (deghi mirch) 1 tablespoon raisins Method Soak tamarind in half cup warm water, remove the pulp, strain and reserve. Heat mustard oil in a pan and add panch phoron powder and tamarind pulp and cook for few minutes. Add jaggery and cook till it melts, season it with salt, black pepper powder and roasted red chilli powder. Cook for two more minutes. Serve the chaatni garnished with raisins.
