Ingredients list for Thecha Murgh

  • 2 Chicken breast boneless
  • 8-10 cloves Garlic
  • 12-15 Green chilli
  • 4 tablespoons Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds (til)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • to taste Sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Method

  1. Roughly chop garlic and green chillies. Heat 2 tbsps oil in a non-stick pan and add garlic and sauté.
  2. Add sesame seeds and sauté till lightly browned. Add green chillies and mix well. Transfer into a mixer jar and grind.
  3. Heat 2 tbsps oil in another non-stick pan. Cut the chicken breasts at a slant into big pieces and add to pan.
  4. Add turmeric powder and salt, mix well and cook for a while. When the moisture dries up add ground thecha and mix well.
  5. When the chicken gets cooked, add lemon juice and mix well. Serve hot.
