Apple Burfi

Ingredients

Method

  1. Peel the apples and grate the portions around the core. Discard the seeds. Transfer the grated apple into ice cold water. Drain and squeeze out excess water. cook till it dissolves. 
  2. Add desiccated coconut and almond powder, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes. 
  3. Add saffron water, mix well and cook, stirring continuously, for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add green cardamom powder and mix well. 
  5. Grease a burfi tray with some ghee and transfer the mixture into it. Spread it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle pistachios powder, almonds and dried rose petals and press lightly. Keep it aside to set.
  7. Garnish with silver warq and cut into equal squares. Arrange on a serving plate and serve.
