By Sanjeev Kapoor 29 Oct 2024 in Recipes Rice New Update Main ingredients Basmati rice, Butter, Button mushrooms, Spring onions with greens, Garlic, Celery, Fresh red chillies, Ginger, White pepper powder, Green chilli sauce, Soy sauce Cuisine Fusion Course Rice Prep time 20-25 minutes Cook time 5-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Savoury Level of cooking Easy Others Vegetarian Ingredients 3 cups cooked Basmati rice 2 tablespoons butter 4 button mushrooms 2 spring onions with greens 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic 1 tablespoon finely chopped celery 1-2 fresh red chillies, diagonally sliced 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger Salt to taste White pepper powder to taste 1 teaspoon green chilli sauce A dash of soy sauce Method Diagonally slice spring onion bulbs and finely chop the greens. Thinly slice mushrooms. Heat butter in a non-stick pan, add garlic and celery, mix well and saute for 1 minute. Add sliced spring onion bulbs, mix and sauté for 1 minute. Add red chillies and ginger and mix well. Add mushrooms, mix and sauté on high heat for 2-3 minutes. Add salt, white pepper powder, green chilli sauce and soy sauce, mix well and suate for 1 minute. Add Basmati rice and mix till well combined. Add most of the chopped spring onion greens and mix well.
