Japanese Style Fried Chicken Chicken is a favourite with most non vegetarian lovers and when it is fried it gets devoured as fast as they get ready. By Sanjeev Kapoor 16 Apr 2024 in Recipes Starter New Update Japanese Style Fried Chicken Main ingredients Boneless chicken leg, Ginger paste, Garlic paste, Light soy sauce, Blended sesame oil, Potato starch, Refined flour, Eggs Cuisine Japanese Course Starter Prep time 10-15 minutes Cook time 15-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Savoury Level of cooking Easy Others Non veg Ingredients · 300 grams boneless chicken leg, cut into 1 inch pieces · 2 tsps ginger paste · 1 tbsp garlic paste · 1 tbsp light soy sauce · 1 tbsp blended sesame oil · Salt to taste · Black pepper powder to taste · ¾ cup potato starch · ¾ cup refined flour · 2 eggs · Oil for deep frying · Lemon wedges to serve · Fresh parsley sprigs for garnish · Mustard mayonnaise to serve Method 1. Take chicken in a bowl, add ginger paste, garlic paste, light soy sauce, blended sesame oil, salt and black pepper powder and mix well. 2. Take potato starch in a bowl. Add salt and mix. 3. Take refined flour in another plate, add salt, black pepper powder and mix well. 4. Break eggs into a bowl. Add salt and black pepper powder and whisk well. 5. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. 6. Roll the chicken pieces in refined flour mixture, dip in egg mixture and finally roll in potato starch mixture. 7. Slide these coated chicken pieces into hot oil and deep-fry on medium heat till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. 8.
