Keto Burger

Burgers are a favourite of today’s generation. But they are high in carbs due to the buns which are used to sandwich the burger patties. But in keto burgers no buns are used and the toppings are also minus the carbs. Here luscious chicken patties are sandwiched between crisp lettuces and topped with cheese slices and some non-carb toppings.

  • 4 cheese slices
  • 4 green olives, pitted

Method

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add onion and sauté till translucent. Take the pan off the heat and allow to cool slightly.

  5. Trim the head of each lettuce and halve them horizontally.
  6. To assemble the burger, drizzle mayonnaise on 4 lettuce halves. Place the patties over them. Sprinkle salt, and crushed black peppercorns. Place cheese slice and cover remaining lettuce halves. Secure it with a toothpick and green olive.
