These spring rolls go well with cocktails or mocktails and can be served at your next party By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Apr 2024 in Recipes Starter New Update Wasabi Prawns Spring Rolls Main ingredients Tiger prawns, Wasabi paste, Spring roll sheets, Sweet chilli sauce, Dark soy sauce, Garlic powder, Onion powder, Red chilli flakes Cuisine Fusion Course Starter Prep time 10-15 minutes Cook time 10-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Savoury Level of cooking Moderate Others Non veg Ingredients · ½ tsp wasabi paste · 8-10 tiger prawns, shelled, deveined with the tails intact · 8-10 spring roll sheets (6” x 6”) · 1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce + to serve · ½ tsp dark soy sauce · ½ tsp garlic powder · 1 tsp onion powder · ½ tsp red chilli flakes · Salt to taste · Refined flour slurry for brushing · Oil for deep frying Method 1. Take sweet chilli sauce in a bowl, add dark soy sauce, wasabi paste, garlic powder, onion powder, red chilli flakes and salt and mix well. 2. Add the prawns and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 5-10 minutes. 3. Place a spring roll sheet, apply some refined flour slurry on the edges, place a prawn and roll tightly. 4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Gently slide in the prawn rolls and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. 5.
