By Sanjeev Kapoor 23 Aug 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Ladyfingers, Oil Cuisine Punjabi Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Achari Bhindi-SK Khazana 16-20 Ladyfingers cut into 1 inch pieces 5 tablespoons Oil to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon Fennel seeds (saunf) 1/2 teaspoon Onion seeds (kalonji) 1 Medium onion finely chopped 1/2 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste 1/2 cup Tomato puree 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/2 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Heat 3 tablespoons oil in a non-stick pan. Add ladyfinger pieces and salt and sauté well. Heat remaining oil in another pan. Add mustard seeds and sauté till seeds splutter. Add fennel seeds, onion seeds and onion, mix and sauté till onions turn translucent. Add ginger-garlic paste and mix. Add tomato puree and mix well. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt, mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Add some water and stir. Add sautéed ladyfinger pieces, mix well and cook for a minute. Add coriander leaves and mix well.
