Ingredients list for Atte Ka Laddoo

  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 12-15 Cashewnuts
  • 12-15 Almonds
  • 1 cup + for greasing Ghee
  • 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  • 2 cups Powdered sugar

Method

  1. Sieve the atta through a fine sieve and set aside. Coarsely grind cashew nuts and almonds and set aside. Melt one cup ghee in a kadai. Add atta and cook on low heat till the atta is fragrant. This normally takes about ten to fifteen minutes. Add cardamom powder, cashew nuts and almonds.
  2. Stir and take it off the heat. Let it cool for a while. Add the powdered sugar and mix well. You may use your hands to mix this, adding some more melted ghee ( in order to shape the laddoos).
  3. Shape into walnut sized round laddoos and store in an airtight container when completely cooled.
