Ingredients list for Ayurvedic Mukhwas

  • 1/4 cup Fennel seeds (saunf)
  • 1/4 cup White sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup Dhania dal
  • 1 tablespoon Flax seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Carom seeds (ajwain)
  • 1 tablespoon Dill seeds
  • 1/4 cup Dried coconut ( khopra) grated
  • 2 tablespoons Rock candy (khadi sakhar) broken
  • 1 teaspoon Dried ginger powder (soonth)
  • 1 teaspoon Jeshtamadh powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Clove powder

Method

  1. Heat a non-stick pan. Dry roast fennel seeds, dhania dal, sesame seeds, flax seeds, carom seeds, dill seeds and coconut, separately till fragrant and transfer into a bowl and cool.
  2. Add rock candy, ginger powder, jeshtamadh powder, cinnamon powder and clove powder the mixture in the bowl and mix well.
  3. 3. Store in an airtight container.
