Ingredients list for Baked Broccoli with Almonds

  • 300 grams Broccoli separated into florets
  • 1 cup Almonds
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • 3 tablespoons Burghul (bulgur or burgul) soaked
  • 1/4 cup Cream
  • 2-3 tablespoons Cheese

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Blanch the broccoli florets in sufficient water.
  2. Put the almonds in a chopper jar, add garlic clove and crush coarsely. Drain the water from the broccoli. Add butter, salt, crushed black peppercorns and mix well. Add almond mixture and mix well. Add burghul and mix.
  3. Add cream and 2 tbsps water and mix well. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and top with grated cheese. Gratinate in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
