By Sanjeev Kapoor 20 Sep 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Boneless bhetki fish fillets , Medium onion Cuisine Bengali Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 31-40 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Bengali Fish Fry-SK Khazana 250 grams Boneless bhetki fish fillets cut into 1 inch pieces 1 Medium onion finely chopped 2 Green chillies 1 inch Ginger roughly chopped 4-5 Garlic cloves 3 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Lemon juice 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder 2 Eggs beaten for coating Dried breadcrumbs to deep fry Oil to serve Onion rings to serve Lemon slices to serve Kasundi mustard Method Blend together onions, green chillies, ginger, garlic and coriander leaves with sufficient water to a fine paste. Put fish pieces in a bowl. Add salt and lemon juice and mix well. Add prepared paste and rub in well. Add garam masala powder and cumin powder, mix well and set aside to marinate for 15-20 minutes. Dip marinated fish pieces in beaten eggs and coat with breadcrumbs. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry fish pieces till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
