Ingredients
- 1/4 large broccoli
- Salt to taste
- 3-4 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon crushed red chillies
- 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds (til)
Method
- Separate broccoli florets keeping the stems intact.
 Cut them vertically into halves.
- Heat 2-3 cups water in a deep non-stick pan.
 Add broccoli florets and salt and blanch.
- To make the dressing, crush garlic cloves through a garlic press into a bowl.
 Add olive oil, vinegar, salt and crushed red chillies and mix well.
- Remove the broccoli florets from the hot water and refresh in ice cold water.
 Set aside for 4-5 minutes.
- Pat them dry on a kitchen towel.
 Add honey to the dressing and mix.
 Add the broccoli florets and toss to mix.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve immediately.
