Ingredients for Cap Cheese Toast Recipe

  • Red bell pepper halved and deseeded 2 medium

  • Cheddar cheese grated 1 cup

  • Mozzarella cheese grated ½ cup

  • Brown bread slices cut into small cubes and lightly toasted 2

  • Onion chopped 1 medium

  • Green capsicum seeded and chopped ½

  • Green chillies finely chopped 2-3

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper powder ½ teaspoon

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons

  • White sauce ? cup


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180° C.

Step 2

Mix together the cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese in a bowl. Add the onion, green capsicum, green chilies, salt, pepper powder, coriander leaves and white sauce and mix well.

Step 3

Place the bell pepper halves on a baking tray. Place bread cubes on the base and top with a portion of cheese mixture.

Step 4

Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake till the cheese melts and turns golden.

Step 5

5.Serve hot.
