Ingredients list for Chicken Stew

  • 750 grams Chicken cut into 1½ inch cubes
  • 3 cups Chicken stock
  • 8-10 Garlic cloves
  • 2 medium Potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 6-8 French beans
  • 2 tablespoons Whole wheat flour (atta)
  • 3 medium Carrots
  • 1 medium Onion
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 1/2 cup Milk

Method

  1. Slice onion and garlic. Cube potatoes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a non stick pan, add onion and garlic and sauté for a couple of minutes. Meanwhile cube the carrots. Add potatoes and carrots to the pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add chicken and continue to sauté. Cut French beans into small pieces.
  4. Add whole wheat flour to the chicken and mix well. Sauté for 1 minute. Add chicken stock, salt, pepper powder and mix well. Cover and cook till the chicken is almost done.
  5. Add French beans and milk and cook for 5-7 minutes. Serve hot with garlic bread.
