Chinese Tomato Soup By Sanjeev Kapoor 10 Nov 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Tomatoes, Butter Cuisine Indian Course Soups Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Chinese Tomato Soup 6 Tomatoes blanched, desseded and pureed 2 tablespoons Butter 2 tablespoons Ginger grated 5 Garlic cloves grated 1 tablespoon Soya Sauce 1 tablespoon Vinegar 2 tablespoon Red Chilli Sauce to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Corn flour 1 teaspoon Sugar 2 tablespoons Fresh cream 1 teaspoon Black pepper 1 tablespoon Lemon juice 2 tablespoons Coriander leaves finely chopped Method Heat a non stick pan add butter when it melts add ginger, garlic and saute till golden. Add soya sauce, vinegar and red chilli sauce, salt and cook for two minutes. Add tomato puree and three cups of water keep on stirring. Take little water in a small bowl put about half teaspoon of corn flour in it mix well. As the puree on gas starts boiling add cornflour in it. Add sugar to taste and then add fresh cream and crushed black pepper, then put a dash of lemon juice or to taste.
