Ingredients list for Chutney Cheese Vegetable Sandwich

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Green chutney
  • 3/4 cup Processed cheese grated
  • 1 Medium onion finely chopped
  • 1 Medium tomato finely chopped
  • 1 Green capsicum finely chopped
  • 8 White bread slices
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried mango powder
  • to taste Salt
  • as required Butter

Method

  1. Mix together cheese, onion, tomato, capsicum, coriander leaves, chilli powder, garam masala powder, dried mango powder, salt and chutney in a bowl.
  2. Apply some butter on all the bread slices. Top 4 slices with a portion of the prepared cheese-vegetable mixture. Cover with remaining slices and apply some more butter on top.
  3. Heat some butter on a non-stick tawa. Place sandwiches on it and toast, turning sides, till evenly done and golden brown on both sides.
  4. Cut into triangles and serve immediately.
