Ingredients list for Coconut Sambol

  • 1/2 cup Coconut
  • 1 medium Onions roughly chopped
  • 2 Green chillies roughly chopped
  • 2-3 Garlic cloves
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Method

  1. Put coconut, onion, chillies, garlic cloves, red chilli powder, salt, pepper powder and lemon juice in the bowl of a food processor and grind till smooth.
  2. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve immediately.
