Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Crispy Chicken Pakora-SK Khazana Recipe

  • Boneless chicken breasts cut into cubes 250 grams

  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon

  • Lemon juice 1 teaspoon

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Coriander powder 1 teaspoon

  • Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon

  • Curry leaves hand torn 4-5

  • Kashmiri red chilli paste 1 tablespoon

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 tablespoon

  • Cornflour 2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil to deep fry

  • Green chutney to serve


Step 1

Put chicken cubes in a bowl. Add ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, chilli powder, chaat masala, curry leaves, chilli paste, refined flour and cornflour and mix well. Add salt and mix again.

Step 2

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry chicken cubes till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 3

Serve hot with green chutney.
